Coconut & Soy Wax Blend for Containers – Kerax Coconut Container 4135
As the name suggests, this wax is a premium blend of soy and coconut wax, specially formulated to create a durable structure that is perfect for container candles. Whether you use metal, glass, or ceramic containers, this 100% plant-based wax stands out for its excellent adhesion, uniform cream colour, and flawless smooth finish.
Naturally sourced, biodegradable, non-toxic, and completely GMO-free. Cruelty-free and suitable for vegans.
Allows easy incorporation of fragrances and dyes. Provides a clean single-pour with optimal adhesion to glass.
Thanks to its low melting point (approx. 50°C), it significantly reduces the risk of burns, making it an excellent choice for massage candle recipes.
Technical Guide for Makers
- Wick Selection: Vegetable waxes often require slightly thicker wicks than paraffin. We recommend TCR, ECO or wooden wicks, sized to the diameter of your container. A wick that is too thick will over-melt the wax and produce soot, while one that is too thin will tunnel around the flame.
- Colour Integration: Heat the wax to approx. 57°C and add dyes (granulated or liquid), stirring until fully dissolved. For a richer shade, you can add a tiny amount of black dye.
- Fragrance Integration: The wax has a very subtle natural waxy scent that does not interfere with fragrancing. Add your fragrance (7-10%) only after the dye has fully dissolved. Use only high-quality fragrances to avoid compromising the burn.
- Pouring & Cooling: Melt the wax gently, without exceeding 90°C (it requires less energy and time compared to other waxes). Allow to stabilise and pour at approx. 55°C. Cool slowly at room temperature (20°-25°C).

Pro Tip: Patience is key!
The colour and shape of the flakes/pastilles may vary depending on the harvest, but performance remains consistent. After pouring, allow the candle to cool naturally at room temperature and give it a curing (resting) time of at least 48 hours before lighting it for the first time or performing burn tests. This ensures perfect crystallisation of the vegetable blend.
