Coconut and Soy Wax Blend for Containers – Kerax Coconut Container 4135
As the name suggests, this wax is a premium blend of soy and coconut wax, specially formulated to create a durable structure perfect for container candles. Whether you use metal, glass, or ceramic containers, this 100% plant-based wax stands out for its excellent adhesion, uniform creamy color, and flawlessly smooth finish.
Naturally sourced, biodegradable, non-toxic, and completely free of GMOs. It is cruelty-free and suitable for vegans.
Allows easy incorporation of fragrances and dyes. Provides a clean (single-pour) burn with optimal glass adhesion.
Due to its low melting point (approx. 50°C), it significantly reduces the risk of burns, making it excellent for massage candle recipes.
Technical Guide for Creators
- Wick Selection: Plant-based waxes often require slightly thicker wicks than paraffin. We recommend TCR, ECO, or wooden wicks, tailored to the container’s diameter. A wick that is too thick will melt the wax excessively and smoke, while one that is too thin will create a tunnel around the flame.
- Color Integration: Heat the wax to approx. 57°C and add the dyes (granulated or liquid), stirring until dissolved. For a richer shade, you can add a tiny amount of black dye.
- Fragrance Integration: The wax has a very subtle, natural waxy scent that does not interfere with fragrancing. Add the fragrance (7-10%) only after the dye has completely dissolved. Use exclusively high-quality fragrances so as not to compromise the burn.
- Pouring and Cooling: Melt the wax gently, without exceeding 90°C (it requires less energy and time compared to other waxes). Allow it to stabilize and pour at approx. 55°C. Cool slowly at room temperature (20°-25°C).

Pro Tip: Patience is key!
The color and shape of the flakes/pastilles may vary depending on the harvest, but performance remains consistent. After pouring, allow the candle to cool naturally at room temperature and ensure a curing (resting) time of at least 48 hours before lighting it for the first time or conducting burn tests. This ensures perfect crystallization of the plant-based blend.
