Bekro Candle Dye, Black

Bekro candle wax dye, black, flakes, 15194-01-6, with a very high concentration, easy-to-use flakes, dust-free.

Bekro dyes are considered the best in the industry due to their minimal impact on burn performance, while delivering a stable colour that can be replicated time and time again.

Bekro dyes are made from organic pigments/dyes and a wax blend, colourant raw materials and additives.

Usage: approx. 1 – 2.5 g per kg of wax, depending on the desired colour intensity.

For a more intense colour, more dye can be added, but bear in mind that too large an amount can harm wick performance.

We recommend using our candle dye at 0.2%.

Soy and vegetable waxes may require a higher concentration to achieve a deep colour.

Add the dye before the fragrance and stir until fully dissolved.

The shade of the colour when the wax is liquid will appear darker and more intense; the final colour of the candle will be a lighter shade.

To test the final colour of your candle, drop a small amount of the coloured liquid wax onto a sheet of white paper.

Good blending properties.

Our dyes are suitable for soy wax, palm wax, coconut wax or paraffin and have good burning properties, making them ideal for coloured candles poured into containers or moulds. They can be easily blended into wax using a metal or wooden stirring rod.

The image shows an approximate colour once added to paraffin wax. Colour will vary depending on the wax and additives used. We suggest experimenting with each dye before making a bulk purchase.
