Soy Wax for Containers – Kerax KeraSoy Container 4130

Developed specifically for container candles (jars, bottles, tins), this 100% natural soy wax offers excellent fragrance throw, a smooth surface, good glass adhesion and an even finish, generally in a single pour. Thanks to its low melting point and odourless nature, it is extremely versatile and ideal for both scented candles and massage candle recipes.

Natural & Vegan
Free from paraffin, free from palm oil, biodegradable, cruelty-free and completely free of animal-derived products.
Ideal for Containers
Provides excellent glass adhesion, a smooth surface, clean pouring and optimal performance with no residue on the container.
Perfect for Massage
Thanks to its low melting point (~45.5°C), it is excellent for massage candle recipes, releasing a delicate fragrance.

Technical Guide for Makers

  • Choosing a Wick: Vegetable waxes often require slightly thicker wicks than paraffin. We recommend TCR or ECO wicks, matched to the container diameter, fragrance and colour. An unsuitable wick can cause tunnelling or smoke; adjust the type if burning is uneven.
  • Adding Colour: For granulated dyes, heat the wax to approx. 75°C and stir until dissolved (alternatively, the dye can be dissolved in the fragrance). For liquid dyes, heat to approx. 70°C. A small amount of black dye can be added for more intense shades.
  • Adding Fragrance: Being odourless, the wax does not alter the fragrance. Add high-quality fragrance (recommended dosage 7-10%, accepts up to 10-12%) after incorporating the dye. Avoid entry-level fragrances that can compromise the burn.
  • Pouring and Cooling: Melt the wax gently (bain-marie), without exceeding 80°C. Pouring is usually done in a single step, then left to cool slowly at room temperature (20-25°C).

Handling & Use Easy to handle thanks to its low melting point. Compatible with both granulated and liquid dyes.

Professional Tip: Patience is Key!

The colour and shape of the flakes may vary depending on availability and harvest, but performance remains consistent. After pouring, let the candle cool naturally at room temperature (20-25°C) and allow a curing period of a minimum of 48 hours before any burn testing. This ensures a perfect set and burn for the candle.
